“I’ve known Andre Wallace for just over a year, having had a son who played for him at Redlands Christian Middle School, and trained by him on the principles of basketball. He has always strived hard to keep an honest and open dialogue with my family in regards to my son’s development as a youth basketball player.
When I first met Andre I looked at him as my son’s coach but as time went on Andre made me well aware of how he is interested in creating a family dynamic within the group and their families. He is unafraid to speak about his life to give a window into the life of a man who has and continues to dedicate his time into creating better basketball players and more importantly young men. He has an unwavering approach to his methodology of training even if it is not vogue or a popular choice at the time. You truly begin to understand that as much as Andre loves training, developing and coaching kids in the game of basketball. He gets the bigger picture and understands that through training, developing, and coaching young basketball players he has a platform to also nurture, mentor, and provide a stable male role model for young men as they are going through some of the most trying and confusing times of their lives.
My son has a passion for basketball but we did not really have a trusted outlet for him to play and develop. My son played sparingly for his 8 th grade team but had determination to get better. After the season Andre Wallace offered all of the kids on the RCMS basketball team an opportunity to train and develop under his tutelage. My son now had an outlet to train and develop and Andre had the plan to help him achieve his goal although unrealistic at the time of making the varsity basketball team at his high school. My son worked with Andre two to three times a week over the next 8 months.
Over the next 8 months he witnessed a coach that was always there, honest in his assessment, unrelenting in his training which revolves around playing in principle, available to answer questions when presented, but most importantly truly cared about him as a young man and would always walk right beside him in his quest to be a varsity basketball player. His skills developed. His confidence soared. He learned to be calm under pressure, which helped him mature. Yes, my son was the only freshman to make his varsity basketball team.”

My name is Ryan Marcroft. I first met Coach Andre around Sept 2020. I had seen him working out with other kids in the same area I would bring my kids to play pickup ball and shoot around with them for fun. I had been watching him for a few weeks/months until I decided to go and speak with him. I did not want to disrupt his practices, as he really seemed to focus on the kids he was coaching.
During one of his breaks, I went to speak with him and quickly realized he was one of the most genuine people I have ever met. He invited me to try it out for a few weeks, my oldest boy started to play with him for a few weeks. After a few weeks of training, my other boys joined in and they got better each week. Coach Andre really spends time with each player and really has the desire and drive to make each player the best they can truly be. Fast forward a few months to spring 2021; Coach Andre invited me to join his coaching staff and help with the 15u and 17u teams. My background is in basketball but it has always been with my kids in rec ball and I am also the Head Coach of a local middle school boys’ team. Joining the coaching staff has given me the opportunity to work with Coach Andre, Coach Darrell, Coach Kendrick & Coach Kevin closely over the last 8 months. We have had success with limited time and training at each level of the 03 Elite program.
The young men/women in the program have become more to me than just players; they have become part of my life beyond basketball. Not only are my 3 boys better at basketball, this program has helped shape them to become better young men and will eventually shape them into better adults and parents. 03 Elite is more than just a basketball team, it is centered on God, Faith and Family. The principles taught each day have created a fellowship that bonds these young men/ladies together that turns them into natural leaders. My kids are very shy in nature but being in the program is helping them in school and athletics.
Coach Andre/Coach Darrel have created something special and I am proud to say my family is a part of it.”

Coach Andre not only teaches the game of basketball, he teaches life lessons that last long after the players step off the court. He gives constructive criticism in a manner which is not disparaging but helps the players learn and grow.
My son came from a travel program that was aggressive in the manner of correcting the players and the manner the coaches spoke to the players and my son did not respond well to the screaming, yelling and tearing down of players abilities. Coach Andre has been able to build him back up to where my son continues to love the game when he was, quite personally, at a point when he wasn’t sure he still wanted to play. My sons confidence in himself and his basketball abilities had grown so much and I know Coach Andre has so much to do with that. “My son started with Andre May of 2019. He had always been a baseball player and played basketball in the off season. He was invited by a friend to “come check out the team”. After meeting coach and the players, my son was hooked. He officially stopped playing baseball and focused 100% on his development with basketball.
